Today, while in my drama class, my character in a play has to quickly jump up out from his desk. Somehow, my shirt got caught on the desk, ripping it almost completely off in front of a live audience. FML

You ask that as if gender could easily have changed since then. The better question would have been 'are you a guy or girl?'

it says the character had to jump from behind HIS desk. Boy? I'm thinking boy. ???

Or it's a girls school. Off gender character roles being the norm in that situation.

yeah that or a girls just playing a guy, we do that all the time in my drama classes and I don't go to an all girls school :)

can we say "wardrobe malfunction"? LOL oops!

No, I cannot. I have speech impairment.

You ask that as if gender could easily have changed since then. The better question would have been 'are you a guy or girl?' You're welcome :)

That was meant in reply to 29. Not sure what happened.

why were you wearing a skirt if your character was a boy?

The post says nothing about a skirt. I assumed OP was a boy because he was playing a male character. If that is the case, although it may be a little embarrassing to be topless, it is socially acceptable. Forget about it. If you are a girl who was playing a male, well, FYL.

its not that socially unacceptable for a guy to be topless.. unless in a business setting or if he is really really fat

this is only an FML if you're a female or chubby.

Hopefully you were in a comedy scene, then it would be easier to improvise around it than if the scene was supposed to be serious...

shirt smarty not skirt right back at ya !!!

You should've played along. The audience would've had no clue. FYL though, I can understand how embarrassing that can be.
