Today, while out to lunch, my sister called me and asked me to pick her up from the mall. I told her she'd have to wait. She got pissed off and started cursing at me, so I hung up on her. She called me back 37 times until I answered and yelled "WILL YOU LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE?" It was my boss. FML

Today, at work, my phone rang. My intern answered it and told me it was a coworker who'd just left. I picked up and said "What's up bitch? What are you going to complain about now?!" It was actually my boss. FML

Today, my boss yelled at me, telling me that I can't answer the phone anymore. Not because I do a bad job, but because a co-worker whined about it being her job. People call her and complain about how rude she is and then ask to talk to me. FML

Today, my boss came around to my way of thinking. He called our customers a "bunch of assholes" and to kick them out if they gave me trouble. When a lady began yelling at me for "setting the damn prices too high" I told her to leave. My boss soon bitched me out for being unprofessional. FML

Today, while working at my call center, I took a phone call. The guy on the other line just yelled "FUCK YOU!" twice at the top of his lungs before hanging up on me. But of course, the phone agent is always at fault. FML

Caller ID or not, the number pops up on the phone. Every carrier I've had (Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular, Helio) at least give you the incoming number. Now if you know that person you can save their name to that number. If someone calls that you don't know then it will be just the number but you'll be able to see that it's not your sister.

okay guys give him(or her) the benefit of the doubt..i mean their phone rings 37 times and they dont answer BUT the ONE time they do its their boss..ehh sketchy? yes- but on the other hand, ive had days when im like "hey wouldnt it be funny if my phone falls out of my pocket and lands in the toilet when im going to the bathroom, and it does..and ALSO it turns out-not so funny after all" but i think you all get what im saying, shit happens and thats what this website is for.. but as for you,guy (or girl) youre out to lunch huh? number 1, out of respect for the person you are eating with,and the people eating around you, your phone should have been A) off or B) atleast on vibrate. and number 2, uhh dont you text? and shit, who doesnt check whos calling them before answering? TOTALLY YOUR FAULT BUDDY.. i mean i constantly check whos calling me, doesnt anybody else avoid credit card collection agencies like i do? hahaha (and i say FML to my previous statement..haha) and ALSO..i LLLOOOOOVEEE how ALLLLLLLL the people in the world who dont have caller id find this message board to write on.. like really? really? what the f?

Well here in Australia, you can set your phone to not send out 'an ID' to the receiving end. So the receiver will just see either "Private Number" or "Withheld Number".
