Today, while out to lunch, my sister called me and asked me to pick her up from the mall. I told her she'd have to wait. She got pissed off and started cursing at me, so I hung up on her. She called me back 37 times until I answered and yelled "WILL YOU LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE?" It was my boss. FML

Today, at work, my phone rang. My intern answered it and told me it was a coworker who'd just left. I picked up and said "What's up bitch? What are you going to complain about now?!" It was actually my boss. FML

Today, while working at my call center, I took a phone call. The guy on the other line just yelled "FUCK YOU!" twice at the top of his lungs before hanging up on me. But of course, the phone agent is always at fault. FML

doesn't the phone go automatically to voicemail if you don't answer after a certain number of times, which is surely less than 37? regardless, extremely low chance of each component occurring, and that's just common sense and ignoring probability.

#45 - okay obviously the phone would go to voicemail by then. but i'm guessing their sister REPEATEDLY called them 37 times. and yeah. i agree with the people who think that its understandable beacuse i wouldn't check who it was after that many times.

@#34 Almost all Canadian companies make you pay for caller id on your phone, so stop listing off American companies like you know everything. And what kind of phone doesn't show you who's calling until after? A clamshell phone with no external display. They're under 10 years old, it's not beyond the realms of comprehension.

Call ID or not, you should've know better than to answer the phone like that. Especially considering you were in a restaurant, very classy. How old is your sister? If she's too young to drive herself she's probably too young to sit at the mall alone and wait for you to finish eating. You should've told you you'd be there as soon as you could and eaten quickly. Being polite from the get go would've saved you a lot of hassle.
