Well I have 2 things to say to this: FYL for if you were to get in a wreck or something serious like that; YDI for arguing with your mom in the first place. Some people have no respect for authority these days.
Okay, I didn't say parents are always right, now did I? Stop talking to me like a ******* kid. Even if parents aren't right, you still need to respect them. Whether or not you do makes no difference to me. But when your kids start disrespecting you, I hope you have your head stuck in your ass. And I'm not the only one on here saying this shit so don't come and gang up on me bitch.
#54, you're the one that seems like a child to me. You didn't say parents are always right, but on the other hand you said OP deserves it for arguing with her mom. Just what the **** do you know about their argument that you say that? Also, who ganged up on you? your entire comment makes you appear as a 5 year old.
Arguing doesn't exactly mean lack of respect. It's not normal for a teenager to sit back and not challenge what they believe is wrong. At that age, they can no longer just listen and believe whatever their parents say. It can be perfectly healthy for parents and teenagers to not agree, but it's when OP's mom puts the OP's life in danger that it becomes unhealthy. That is, assuming the OP is a teen.
#64: for the record, you're saying what I was saying. You say the teen deserved it. I wouldn't necessarily turn the airbag off in front of my teen though. There are other ways of discipline for kids and teens. So **** off. #83: I do agree, and thank you for not being such a bitch as the others. It is normal for teens to argue with their parents. But when I completely disrespected mine, I was kicked out and in trouble with the law for 4 years. When I realized what I had done my parents still welcomed me with open arms and now I'm with them and yes we still argue, but I don't go off behind their backs and shit nor talk to them how a teen not ought to talk to their parents. As for the rest of you, **** off.
#111: I hope you get hit by a car.
Since we've all come to the conclusion that merely arguing with one's parents is not the same as disrespecting them, nothing in OP's post suggests that he was disrespecting his mother, and to automatically take the mother's side when you know nothing about their argument seems presumptuous to me.
thats the best FML I have ever read!
LOL ******* WIN
Wow u were a bitch to mother
#61 They are much, MUCH, less likely to kill you, though. And it's an FML because OP has the kind of mother who would passive aggressively indicate that she doesn't care if her child dies in a car accident, over some argument.
I don't get it!
