Today, while trying to quit my horrible job at a pizza place, I got so nervous that I accidentally offered to work double my usual hours for another month. FML

Write down a notice of resignation. If you write it out and hand it to the manager you won't be so nervous you can't speak up, and it looks more professional. Good luck OP

That would make op look bad for other jobs.

Well at least you'll make a little more money before leaving

I got nervous and set my crush up with my sister. She's my girlfriend now. My point is, you need to go fix it right now.

Seriously? It's a pizza shop. What are they gonna do? Throw you in pizza jail? Wait, are your inmates PIZZAS in pizza jail??? That sounds delicious! You should quit so you can go to pizza jail and have a pizza buffet!

But if it was a jail for pizzas they wouldn't throw OP in it, would they? Unless... plot twist, OP is a pizza.

Having quit a horrible pizza job i will suggest this method. Look at the schedule and find a night that is going to be crazy busy, or a night that is short staffed. Come in on that night with your uniform in hand, set in on counter and say "I'm out bitches" and leave.

As much as I wish I could do that at the pizza shop where I work, it would only punish my coworkers. They're some of the best people I know. It's the greedy psycho owner/boss that deserves it.

I also work at a fast food pizza place and I agree. My boss is horrible. But most of my coworkers are awesome.

As someone who suffers anxiety, I know where you are coming from. Write out a resignation letter at home (be nice and give 2 weeks notice, ie. I will be resigning from my position as of August 19th, 2015). If you have to, simply hand the letter to your boss then head back to work. Do not let them talk you into staying if you really don't want to, but do not be rude. Always leave on good terms! Good luck.

That attitude wont get you around. Time to gain some confidence & tell the manager straight up that you no longer want to work there. Besides what's the worst that could happen? he will be like 'okay, no worries here is ur last paycheck, bye' give it a shot. Know what ur worth & never settle for less than what you deserve.
