Today, while waitressing, I served a family with a little girl who was wearing a Frozen shirt. I told her I'm friends with Elsa and that she taught me to sing. The girl asked me to sing a song, so I did. Not even 5 seconds in, she started bawling. FML

How could you lie to a little girl like that?! No wonder she started crying! I can't believe you, smh.

>_< I now cannot get that freaking song out of my head.

You don't even know what song she sang.

I will never understand why people feel the need to lie to little kids like that and tell them such bullshit.

Op is from Cali, maybe she works as a princess at Disney or something. Still a stupid thing to say though.

Ahh, well spotted! Employees use this line (though not "she taught me how to sing") in the parks all the time. That was actually the first thing that came to my mind.

you sound like one of those ******* annoying waitresses no offence

The other servers generally have me come and sing to their tables to cheer their kids up for them. Plus I've been singing and involved in theatre for years, as well as being a professional princess and mermaid the last year. I get recognized and asked to sing.

Servers are self-aware? What about normal computers? Will there be a robot overlord? So that means, when I share a file to the cloud, the server can delete the file if it wants to?

Was she bawling with happiness or that she thought you needed improvement in your singing skills?

Maybe she was just excited because she really thought she was Elsa's friend. I've seen kids cry when they see cartoon characters because they can't believe they're actually seeing them.

It's okay. Little kids are very unpredictable. You're fine, just let it go.

maybe you werent that bad it could of been tears of joy lol
