Today, while waitressing, I served a family with a little girl who was wearing a Frozen shirt. I told her I'm friends with Elsa and that she taught me to sing. The girl asked me to sing a song, so I did. Not even 5 seconds in, she started bawling. FML

How could you lie to a little girl like that?! No wonder she started crying! I can't believe you, smh.

I would not be happy if my waitress started singing. take my order, be nice, don't be weird. and don't try to sing if you suck

I'm confused as to why you would say that anyway. You're a waitress. It's not your job to entertain the kid. I get that you were trying to be friendly, but like 35 said, this makes you sound like an annoying waitress.

Funny thing is, I can sing! I've been involved in theatre for 9 years, professional princess and mermaid for over a year (seriously on Instagram I'm alanamermaida) If you DM me and ask me to sing I'll prove it! Honestly that has never happened to me before and I do it a lot! (And yes I am the OP. I didn't have an account when I made the post.)?

Sorry to hear it OP! Sometimes people just don't get what it means to be apart of the magic, little ones included. I'm sure there are many other little ones out there who would be so happy to hear that you're friends with Elsa, so just keep your chin up! :)

I'd start bawling too if someone started singing me a Frozen song.

It's one thing to tell a kid you're friends with a person... Kind of odd to brag that Elsa taught you to sing unless you sound like her which is highly unlikely. Sorry OP YDI for lying to the kid and being overly confident.
