Today, while working at Kohl's this woman came up to me and asked if I was Native American, I said yes, she then says "Oh! I thought you guys went extinct." This is the country I live in. FML

I think people believe that because 1) In history, the Native Americans were murdered and driven out of their homes by Americans, and 2) because its pretty hard to find people who are fully native American. Its ignorance on the woman's part, not stupidity, that made her say that.

i already told you, in north mexico, there is 4 choices you can take: join the drugdealers, live in poverty, die or jump the fence. its hard up there, real hard its a shame our country is going through something like that, because some of our last goverment workers, like some governors thought it was a good way to make money. so now that the country is trying to fix that, they get bombed by the news. yeah its a tough fight, and the few that have the brains to flee to USA get discriminated or shot at by SOME (not all) americans. so yeah most don't like USA but they see it as a way to leave poverty or certain death. That answers your question
