Surprise ************! Wait, no. More like: Some fries, ************! :D

When I go to McDonalds, I have two specific requests. Extra pickles, and hot french fries. Simple, right? At least it should be. But the monkeys they have working behind the counter can almost never get me those two things at the same time the first time. I'd go elsewhere, but it's generally the only thing open when it's well past midnight and I'm tired. I've written emails and filed complaints on the McD's website, and gotten no kind of helpful response at all, so I could easily see myself doing just this kind of thing. And yes. I can tell the difference between fries that aren't super hot because they sat in the bag for a minute and fries that were never hot when I pulled in.

I find it crazy that 1 in 4 people voting on this FML at the moment says that OP deserved it. Even if the fries were cold, the customer was in no way justified to throw them at an employee. She could have resolved the issue by acting like a decent human being. What happened to politely asking for a refund or have the food item replaced?

I love people like that. When I worked retail I hated them (still do) but how bad are their lives that they have to do this? and they make life interesting.

You know how to avoid things like that? Stop giving people cold fries.

you shouldn't serve old fries to people. Fries taste like shit when cold. you would be pissed too if you get serve cold pizza. that lady is wrong thowing shit at you though.

Sadly this happens more often then people think... We have a guy at Burger King that threatens to throw the fries back at us if their not hot enough for his liking.

once I had a lady go through drive thru, get her food at our second window, then she came back swearing and threw her food on the counter because her receipt wasn't in the bag... but she was handed the receipt at the cash register at the first window *face palm*
