That's like the Wendy's incident of the finger in the chili. Lady used one off her dead relative and tried to sue. Anyway, unfortunately places usually replace to avoid a scene
Hair today, you're gone tomorrow.
Man, I feel bad for you, no offense but working at a fast food restaurant isn't the most glamorous thing to do, and then you get assholes like her who just try to make it worse for you.
There are more than one FML just like this. I thought they don't do FML's that are the same as ones previously submitted.
Op if the hair was on top not in the food and she took pictures of it, the lawsuit would be frivolous.
If your superior doesn't believe you, then you need to leave. It's one thing if you didn't see it and offered to give a refund, but you saw it and should refuse to give one and your boss should back you up.
One of the many reasons I don't miss working in food service.
If you were able to see her do it no doubt a security camera would have picked it up as well. Let her stupid ass file a lawsuit.
then tell her "no but they might believe the security cameras."

Try to get a DNA test to prove it. your witnessing would be probable cause.
Let her waste her time filing a lawsuit. There are no damages for her to seek so it would be frivolous.
