Tradwife blues

Today, my husband and I are sick. He keeps whining about how bad he feels. I'm just as sick, as well as 7 months pregnant. I've not only been taking care of his whiny ass: I've cooked, cleaned, and gone to the store several times because the tissues we had were too rough on his nose. FML

Just leave him alone for a few hours and he will realize that life indeed can be tough. Teach him a lesson. If you don't do it now you might never get a second chance.

Good for you for being the bigger person!

And people say women are the weaker sex. Ha! Really, OP, if your husband whines for anything else, he can get it himself, especially if he's particular about a certain brand of tissues or medicine. Practice these words: "I am cooking, cleaning, and incubating our child, and I'm just as sick as you are. If you are particular about the kind of tissues you want, feel free to go the store and get some--and while you're there, pick up (x) for me. If you can't haul your ass out of bed, suffer with the tissues we've got. Your nose will heal." And then don't do anything for him that you aren't doing for yourself. Whether or not you're pregnant, you both should be taking care of each other. That means you take turns doing the work of keeping the house going when you both feel like crap or you split the duties involved.

Sounds like somebody is getting some good parenting training in. Wait until you have that kid, and they're whining about the same stuff.

Remember, This woman has moodswings, so the way he might be 'whining', could be blown a bit out of proportion. (An observation some people seem to miss here)

Just wait until you have the baby and he/she gets a cold. That's what I'm going through right now...

Men are the biggest babies. My hubby is the same way. It drives me crazy!!!

tell him to stop being a pu$$y and grow a pair. If a little cold makes him act like that imagine what being a parent is going to do.

I'd divorce the prick. You're heavily pregnant, what the hell?!
