What did you expect your dog to do? Unless its a trained attack dog. it (he/she) doesn't know the mugger is a bad guy and to attack. Maybe be mad at the mugger not your dog?

Wow. If my dog saw me getting mugged, she'd probably rip off a limb. But then again, she's the type of dog to growl and be aggressive towards anything or anyone that isn't from my house...

I have two dogs... One is a basset hound... He wouldn't hurt a fly... He is about as vicious as a kitten... He's my kids nanny... Then I have a Rott-Mastiff cross that would eat your face if I told her to... She's my guard dog..

My house got robbed a few years ago and my dog probably just laid on the couch and watched. Even my cat knew something was wrong because he was acting shaken up the rest of the night.

I guess it is time to teach Yip the Chihuahua the 'kill' command. Whoever mugged you must have known your dog is a big softie. Any chance the dog can at least earn its keep by tracking the mugger?

I'm the viscous pit bull that you in trusted to protect you from burglars and muggers. But instead, I decide eat the mailman instead of mugger/burglar. This could cause serious damage to your home and your wallet. So get Allstate, to protect you from mayhem , like me.
