Unbelievable

Today, I received two withdrawal grades in school for dropping the classes due to a kidney infection that kept me in the hospital. I wrote a petition to the dean asking to remove the grades. He replied to send a doctor's note. I did so, and he then said that I was faking and the note was forged. FML

WTF.....Let him call your doc!!!!! What a ******* retard. edit: you're an idiot greenman, let's see you man through that.

Sue him for loss of future earnings due to him being a douche and giving you these withdrawl grades. But seriously. That sucks. Maybe get your parents to talk with him. Or get him to call your doctor. But why bother asking for the note if he already decided you were faking it.

LOL exactly. Just have the dean call the doctor personally. Inform your doctor to expect such a call if you want to make sure he/she knows that the dean thinks you're faking everything. No biggy. If the dean is entirely unfair about it, report the dean to a 'higher power' such as a council and such, or sue, take your pick. Those are the sensible approaches. Approaches that I and other people from where I'm from would take is threaten, threaten, threaten - there's many to pick from ranging from suing to death.

as for suing, you can't. you attend their school and they can do what they like without cause except for kicking you out. Your SOL

Make him talk to the doctor. If it still doesn't work, threaten to sue his/the school's ass. I don't like excessive litigation, but thats just not right.

@ 19&2 obviously greenman was being sarcastic. jeesh yall need to gain a sense of humor, or understand sarcasm when it is staring you in the face. OP that sucks balls. as someone said earlier, send the dean the bill.

# 25, no greenman's just a dick and an internet troll that most likely comes from 4chan, you are obviously stupid. OP, that does suck, and you should most definitely take legal action.

Please, please, PLEASE make your doc call your dean (or dean call your doc.) That ought to take care of it fast!!

Guys, I'm pretty sure Greenman was being sarcastic. However, it was a pretty dumb attempt and it left me lukewarm. OP: I feel you completely. I'm still in high school, but last year I had countless absences due to head pain which is still around, and all of the teachers tried to make me deal with it, and all their shit. They destroyed my GPA without a second thought. I agree with everyone here, you should take legal action, and do everything in your (sadly limited) power to mar the reputation of that asshole who said you were faking. Godspeed. Also, I hope your kidney(s) get better.

Where I go to school, W's don't affect your grade at all. But in your case, you should've gotten an incomplete and been able to continue the course at a later time. That sucks.

#21 just because the OP didn't have the doctor call directly doesn't mean he is an idiot... and just because BC does things that way doesn't mean it is the same for every college, you don't need to call others idiots just because they have things that work out differently than how your experiences have dictated that you think they would go
