Weirdo

Today, my boyfriend came home from a camping trip and broke up with me. All because when he was watching the lake he was near, ripples formed. Apparently, this means God was telling him I'm impure and unable to be "saved by Christ" and therefore, a waste of his time. I dated this lunatic. FML

Well look on the bright side. You're no longer dating a lunatic.

Looks like Jesus saved YOU from that lunatic.

Yes, they are. :) I'm not discriminating, though. I hate everyone equally.

at least you're not still wasting time with him... he sounds like a really annoying idiot

You dodged a bullet. Your life isn't ******, it's just improved. BTW, I know lots of very religious people who would consider him an arrogant and judgmental idiot, so it's not about religion, just about him. (You're "impure"? So is he. So is everyone. Being impure is part of the human condition.) Enjoy your life, and here's hoping for a better connection down the road.

No it's still insane. Believe in something with no proof all you want, the invisible pink unicorn in my bed will always be there for me. All you have to do is believe in him.

Just because he believes in something does not make him a lunatic.

I bet OP's boyfriend used to shout, "In the name of Jesus Christ!" while he was plowing her.

There's proof. Some people just refuse to see it :) I think if the boyfriend knew that OP wasn't a Christian and he'd been trying to save her, it wouldn't be so crazy to think God would just tell him it's a lost cause and move on. If the boyfriend had no idea that she wasn't a Christian then he might be crazy.

This is NOT about "religion"; the OP's (now ex-) boyfriend is probably schizophrenic.
