If she's 18 & thinks water's free then you haven't done your job! Our kids have been taught the value of a dollar from early on! They know to limit showers etc.. & have known for years!
Educate her about Australia's lack of water and our droughts and water restrictions. Yup 10min shower time per person per day. Gets that dry you can walk across rivers with ouch getting your knees wet.
I'm glad my hot water is free. Taking as many showers a day I want is great.

water costs like a penny a gallon. It might as well be free. It is free in my apartment complex. The heater, however, is a different story
