Today, I forgot my phone on the roof of my car. I took a 30 minute drive from my friend's city to my city. I got on to my driveway, surprised to see my phone still there. Thinking I'm really lucky, I pick up my phone. Then, I trip over a pebble, cracking my phone in the process. FML

Today, it wasn't until I heard something fly off the roof of my car and hit the trunk, then asphalt, that I remembered where I left my phone while unlocking the car door. FML

Today, I left my phone on the roof of my car after pumping gas. I drove off, and it wasn't until I heard a thud that I realized what had happened. Now my phone has a gash in the screen, and it's receiving angry texts from my girlfriend that I can't answer. FML

Today, while driving, I realized I had left my phone on top of my car when I was getting in. Panicking, I drove back to look for it. I found it in the middle of the street, still intact. Yay! When I went back to my car, I noticed I had locked my door, and the keys were in the ignition. FML

Today, I was driving back home when I saw a yellow object flying off my roof of my car through the side mirrors. I thought nothing of it, then I noticed that I didn't have my phone with me. That's when I realized that the "flying yellow object" was my phone. FML

Today, I put my phone on top the car while putting my daughter in her car seat. Told myself not to forget it. Then I drove away, and it flew off the top of the car on the freeway. It got ran over. FML

Today, I dropped my phone in the parking lot and it landed next to a car tire. As I reached to pick it up, the car backed up and ran over my phone and my hand. Hello, emergency room! FML

Today, I was driving down a highway during rush-hour. I heard my phone ring and couldn't find it. I bent down to feel around for it and got in an accident and totaled my car. The ringing? A commercial on the radio. Where was my phone? On my dresser at home. FML

Today, I helped friends move home, and since we couldn't all fit in their car I took the bus. While waiting, my new phone slipped and crashed on the floor. It now has a cracked screen right between my two overpriced phone protectors. FML

Today, I was on my phone while it was charging. My hands fumbled a bit, and my phone slipped out of my fingers. Thinking quickly, I grabbed it by the charging cable to save it. The cable unplugged, and my phone now has a pretty crack on the screen from hitting the tile floor. FML

I've done this before, but it fell into a crack on my truck... It was the most terrifying thing ever. At least you didn't lose it though, right? It's costs less to replace a screen than the whole phone.

Hi guys! I'm the OP of this story. I completely forgot to sign in for this FML. I am very sorry for this. I would like to start by saying that I was visiting my friends since they just remodeled their house. They live about 30 minutes away in more urban part of Florida. When I was leaving I must of left my phone on my roof when I was getting my keys out of my pants pocket. The funny thing is that the drive from my city to theirs involves getting on the highway (really glad I have a very grippy case). I got home and out of my car and saw my phone on my roof and was shocked. I turned on my phone and I saw that my friend had called me during the drive. I called back and they told me that they wanted to tell me that my phone was on my car because I was too far away for them to tell me. As I was talking, I tripped over a pebble, and since I have a gravel driveway I couldn't stop myself. The crack isn't too bad so I guess I have some luck left. P.S. Sorry for this essay of a response :)
