Who you gonna call?

Today, while lying in bed, I heard a strange grating noise coming from the hallway. After recovering from my initial assumption that it was a poltergeist come to murder me and steal my liver, I went out to investigate. It was there that I discovered my bulldog casually eating into the wall. FML

I'm assuming this is that bulldog in your profile picture, right? You're lucky though - strange noises in the hall are usually poltergeists, so I'm shocked SHOCKED! that it wasn't a specter. But don't walk out there to investigate! Next time just walk into the light like the crazy little lady says.

You gotta watch out for those liver-eating poltergeists. They're everywhere these days. At least where I live. I need to get back to the dungeon of my castle. I have quite a bit of business there.

OP, usually if your dog is doing something like that then you're not giving them enough stimulation of some sort... such as they need more chews to gnaw on, or more exercise or more play... I heard warnings about that for some breeds, such as my border collie, since they like to learn and play and stay active.

My dog started doing that after I changed his "I am leaving for work" treat... when I switched it back he stopped.

Yes, cuz that's all poltergeists do. They steal livers.

Your first thought was that it wanted to steal your liver?

This is still one of my favourite FML's of all time!! Just the way that the OP worded it makes me laugh. :D

At least it wasn't the poltergeist coming to murder you and steal your liver right! Keep the glass half full :)

I had a bulldog that did the same thing!

Why your liver ??? I would have gone for the kidneys, personally . . .
