Makes no difference if he switched them, you loaned your friend a good working saw he has to return a good working saw. As a last resort you could try to involve the police for theft but I would first try peer pressure and involve his parents
What if the op isn't a teenager?
A good working saw? Did you miss the part where he said the blade was missing and the cord was cut?
He said he has to return a good working saw. He means even if it was the same saw, but broken beyond repair, that he (the friend) should buy a new one that does work.
No one is saying he is a teen but obviously he is his peer because, he is borrowing tools an things. An him not answering door screams immature.
Haha like that one episode of Big Bang Theory
Just steal your saw back when you have the chance. I donkt let people borrow my things because I am always afraid of bad stuff happening.
And stop calling him your friend. He's an asshole, OP.
Where I come from, people who do things like that are called douchebags, not friends.
Yeah this guys right. He's not a friend. I'd knock on his door and stay low out of sight of the peep hole. Then when he opens it kick him in the balls. Throw his saw back at him and then take mine back. But that's just me.
Kick him in the balls?? A swift punch to the mouth would be more appropriate, sir.
Damage is visible. Kick to the balls hurt more and not as much of a chance to hurt yourself. Also more likely to go to the police for getting punched in the face than getting kicked in the balls
Hey neighbour, can I borrow your car? *next day* What do you mean that's not your car? :)
If he wants to be a immature prick about it. Open up a can of whoop ass and get your saw back.
Well, you still know where he lives! You'll get it back... eventually. Maybe. ...Probably not.
Watch out if you try to physically get it back though, he has a power saw.
Is he serious? Sounds like he's not a good friend and isn't the brightest bulb either.
