You're going to hell

By he's not the one going to hell - 12/09/2014 21:11 - Australia

Today, some assface hacked my recently deceased friend's Facebook account. The person changed my friend's location to "Hell", then posted a status saying how hot the weather was, and replied "I wish :'(" to someone who'd said my friend was in a better place now. FML

This is just despicable. Major sympathies OP, somebody out there is a total dick.

New kind of low. Some people have no idea what grief is - or respect, for that matter. Whoever did that is a major douche. Don't you worry, OP, they'll get what's coming to them, in time. Sorry for your loss, OP. May your friend RIP.

People keep going on about respect like everyone aautomatically deserves it. Im not saying whst this person did was right, because it wasnt all im saying is people have to earn my respect. Im polite and courteous to strangers but that is the most they get until they prove themselves worthy of respect.

#79, I think you miss the point. The respect people are referring to has little to do with the person who died. Even if that person didn't deserve any respect, their parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, and others who are grieving did not deserve this adding to the misery of their losing a loved one.

You can contact Facebook to have the account memorialized. I tried to post you the link but FML website wouldn't let me. You should be able to look it up on Google. I did it for my best friend after she passed, it's fairly straightforward. You will just to provide your relationship with the deceased and a link to a death announcement. I guess you can ask FB in the process to remove the offending comments that idiot posted. Once done, only existing friends will be able to post on the wall. Take care.

He is not a hacker. When will people finally learn what the word hacker really means? From wikipedia: "A hacker is one who enjoys the intellectual challenge of creatively overcoming and circumventing limitations of programming systems and who tries to extend their capabilities[3] The act of engaging in activities (such as programming or other media[4]) in a spirit of playfulness and exploration is termed hacking. However the defining characteristic of a hacker is not the activities performed themselves (e.g. programming), but the manner in which it is done: Hacking entails some form of excellence, for example exploring the limits of what is possible,[5] thereby doing something exciting and meaningful.[4] Activities of playful cleverness can be said to have "hack value" and are termed hacks[5] (examples include pranks at MIT intended to demonstrate technical aptitude and cleverness).".

Right now the YDI is at 666. Coincidence? I think not.

may the ghosts haunt the hacker for the rest of his life..or just his face book life..

It takes a lot for me to say "that's ****** up" but that's ****** up.
