Today, I informed my grandparents of my upcoming graduation from college. My grandma looked at me with tears in her eyes, and told me how proud she was that I was able to make it so far in spite of being autistic. I am not, nor have I ever been autistic. FML

What's wrong with being autistic I am and I'm happy and literate so ydi because you can't handle people with learning disabilities

There's nothing wrong with being autistic. I have it myself, and I live a pretty normal life. I'm happily married to a non-autistic guy, who loves and appreciates me. I work full-time in a customer service job, which pays pretty well. I'm going to school part-time to be a special ed teacher. I have several of amazing friends. Only thing that I struggle with is mild OCD and some social anxiety.
