Bad vibes

Today, the evening phone conversations with my boyfriend, after I finished all my tasks, used to be the one thing I would be looking forward to all day. It would keep me going. Now, they feel like one more task, one more box to check before I can truly relax. FML

This is a hectic pressure-filled season. There are many good things about this time of the year, but the other side of that is that there are a lot of expectations. That can get in the way of enjoying the time. OP, if you normally look forward to calling or communicating with your boyfriend on a daily basis, don't panic because right now it seems like one more box to check. In a month all of this extra activity will be over and the world should go back to "normal"... On the other hand, if the nightly communications with BF have seemed like a chore for some time, then that means something. It might mean the new has worn off the relationship and it's time to reconsider the relationship either to make it better or to accept that it has run its course.
