OP, you should know yourself and you might be right. But you might be wrong - Sometimes we are our harshest critic… I recommend that at an appropriate time, face to face, you begin a dialogue with your friend and see how she feels. Be honest, but don’t start with how terrible you are. The situation is worth getting feedback from your friend on rather than just disappearing - That’s the cowardly way out.
