Sketchy

Today, I met my boyfriend’s female friend. We all went out to dinner, he paid for her meal instead of mine, asked me why I’m not a redhead like her, and when he dropped her off at her house, spent the entire hour car ride talking about how perfect she is. He still has no idea why I’m upset with him. FML

you mean ex boyfriend right?

that reminds me of the time when I just met my boyfriend's family. when he was taking me home because he decided to blow me off, he wouldn't stop talking about his female friend. guess who was there when he broke up with me on speakerphone? guess who he asked out after we hung up? I feel ya, OP ❤

Sounds like it’s time for a breakup

get out before you invest too much in him. all that will happen is you will let him destroy you while you're trying to compete with her

If she's so perfect, why doesn't he date her?

It's actually appalling what women continue to put up with nowadays. Shit is NOT okay. It speaks more about us than it does them. Do better. For all our sakes.

Please tell me he's an ex, I know it's hard because you like him, but you should never be a replacement for someone else. And the harsh truth is, that's what you are. Leave and find someone who feels the way he does about his "female friend", about /you/.

"He still has no idea why I’m upset with him." Tell him. Thinking "he should realise by himself" won't solve anything.

Ok, you're upset with him, but if you are, why are you still with him at all?

Well, I'd say this calls for one of the serious talks that every relationship has once in a while.
