The nerve

Today, my biological mother, who abandoned me at the hospital the day I was born, turned up at my son's birthday party, demanding my bone marrow to treat some disease she has. When I outright refused, she tried to ask my son for his marrow to, “save granny’s life”. He’s 5 and now won’t stop crying. FML

Can you explain that she is actually an evil witch woman who is just pretending to be granny?

Does your son know that “granny” is not whoever he considers his grandmother but this woman he’s never seen before in his life? That might be part of the problem.

Tell your son he's too young to be a donor. Tell him you are old enough, but you hope the old hag dies. Then laugh maniacally.

I’m assuming it’s leukemia, and even if she is your birth mother, there’s a very slim chance of either of you being a match. Odds are you couldn’t help. (Source: I was my brother’s donor and the fact that, even as siblings, we were a match was a mathematical unlikelihood. A grandson being a match would Ben o thing short of a miracle.)
