Bonjour, je suis l'auteure de cette VDM. Merci de m'avoir donné l'occasion d'évoquer de marrants souvenirs et merci à vous, lecteurs, pour votre indulgence (je m'attendais à nettement plus de commentaires "tarte à la crème" du style "Quel boulet !". Alors, un peu plus de précision sur cette VDM : ça s'est passé dans une petite exploitation agricole néo-zélandaise. Les arbres fruitiers étaient des arbres à kiwis (des kiwitiers ?) et les piquets, de gros piquets en bois bien sûr, d'un diamètre pratiquement équivalent à celui des arbres. C'est pourquoi, nez en terre et voulant bien faire, je me suis dépêchée et, à la fin d'une rangée, je ne me suis pas arrêtée dans mon élan. Evidemment, le fermier regardait justement par là à ce moment-là et il m'a dit d'un ton flegmatique "Uh, it's a pole..." Par la suite, j'ai mieux travaillé : entre autres tâches toutes plus fatigantes les unes que les autres, j'ai nourri (avec un biberon spécial, hein) une jeune génisse qui avait perdu sa mère et aidé le fermier à débroussailler le périmètre d'un champ. Le fermier m'a tellement prise en sympathie qu'il m'a envoyé une carte postale lors de ses vacances en Europe. Voilà voilà, bonne journée à tous !
