Maybe you sent it to the wrong person. Just keep your hopes high. And anyway, I really don't think a text would be the best thing for a 1 year anniversary.

Texting is for those with no social capabilities. If you're trying to be romantic, either call him or give him a good surprise on the anniversary. This is coming from a guy who's had a 5 year relationship (still going very strong) and knows that a text does not make a good anniversary present.

Write a letter? Mail a card? Show up at his house to surprise him? Plan a dinner and movie date? Hire a band to serenade him? There's a MILLION other ways to express affection. A text message is not one of them. Honestly, I would be Jons of offended if two hours of my anniversary was spent writing a text, instead of spending time with them. If you physically can't see them, plug in a webcam? I mean, we do have the technology.
