Today, I was at Walmart and I asked a guy working there where the scrapbooking stuff was. He led me to the aisle where it was and then said, "By the way, I don't work here." FML

I made that mistake before. I saw someone walking the aisles wearing a blue polo shirt, looking at the shelves like he worked there. Turns out he was the potato chip vender for Wal*Mart. He still pointed me to what I was looking for though.

I get why its a bit embarresing, but you can also look at it this way: some guy was being really nice to you today.

why the eff is this an FML? people are getting dumber by the day and just write inappropriate stuff here.

and moderaters are just letting EVERYTHING go by:/

To all of those asking, "Why is this an FML?": The poor girl was embarrassed! Yes the guy was a really nice person for showing her where the scrap-booking things were, but what if the was hot? How awkward for you, OP! However, from my side, it's pretty darn funny. 

If he was hot, it wouldn't be an FML. Attractive man goes out of his way to help you out? Life is sweet. Ugly man goes out of his way to help you out then suggestively lets you know you "owe" him? FYL.
