Today, my girlfriend is super vigilant about her birth control and always takes a morning after pill. I always use condoms. We never have sex during the dangerous time of the month. She got pregnant anyway. With twins. FML

If she's on the birth control pill AND takes the morning after pill, that's not healthy. The pill works by tricking the body into thinking that it's already pregnant with hormones. The morning after pill works by overdosing the body with those same hormones to get the effect without having a base load from long term use. Get her to talk to her doctor about that, it can't be good for her in the long run. Also, do what you have to do. People like the first commenter will say that pregnancy is a risk you took, but you take the risk that you will get hit by a car every time you cross the street. That doesn't make it your fault if you do get hit by a car. If you and your girlfriend are not ready for a child, there are options and there is no shame in exercising them. Good luck.

This is a real FML, but what can I say, you knew that she can become pregnant and it was the risk you took. :(
