Ouch OP. I know how you feel. :/ good luck?
Yeah. I hate it when grandma's have a sense of humor.
Really? You have the intelligence of a chicken mcnugget.
Yeah I too think she was just pullin your chain. Don't take it too seriously, the beast turns into a hot prince at the end! :) On the upside, CONGRATS! My schools doing that next year and I reeeeeaaally want to get the part of Belle
Did they ever?
^they usually don't have filters by that age. Biologically, each person is born with a set number of ***** to give throughout life. By the time they're over 65, they've simply run out of *****, and go through the "smartass geriatric" stage until they die. The two great quests of science are to make "artificial *****". (That, and cures for cancer). That way, people can live longer, and be less bitter while alive.
That, or your grandparents haven't reached their "no ***** given" stage quite yet.
Well at least you don't have to sit in a chair for an hour for makeup ;).
When I read the first line of the FML I thought it WAS Beast from X-men. A shame it wasn't.
Maybe they cast you as the beast because at the end he turns into a super handsome human again :]
that's sweet
Thats cute
As a theatre person I know that getting a lead is huge (no matter what they may look like) because it means you're talented enough to pull it off. So don't sweat it OP! I've only ever had one lead (Hermione Granger in a Harry Potter musical) and even if you're the beast, it just means you're good enough to be a star.
Just rub it off and make sure she has been invited to the play, if she doesnt go then forget her, if she does, then in the end its all that matters.
What does inviting her to the play solve? She insulted OP's looks, not the play itself.
Tell your grandma you take after her.
I feel ya my grandparents are exactly like that. I actually get a good laugh out of it you just have to learn how to live with it. and I'm pretty sure they were joking
I'm sure she was just kidding. Congratulations on getting the role!
