Today, my English teacher used the word "interpretate" again. This isn't the only mistake she's made though; I've been so frustrated that I've started a list of them. It's over a page long. I'm meant to be learning things from this woman. FML

Same thing different taste

Underfunded and underappreciated

Today, I got back the essay I wrote about how my country's education system is fucked. At one point, I made a spelling mistake. My teacher wrote a note about it, basically calling me illiterate, and telling me to pay attention in school instead of whining about it. She misspelled "school". FML

'interpretate' is a perfectly cromulent word.

I once had a teacher tell us about how, “pon-ti-is pee-lot had like, totally conspired against Jesus with Jonas" needless to say we had her fired

My AP English teacher once told our class she loved "public speeching."

My English teacher forgot the letter 'C' in the alphabet.

"Interpretate" is actually a word, albeit archaic. It has more merit than some word made up by David Cohen.

Sure, just as potatoes gotta potate is complaisant with the grammar police.

Talk with your principel About this issue..

Principal* not sure if typo or you just didn't know how to spell it, either way carry on with your business and have a blessed morning

get a recording of it if you can and have her fired... we don't need imbeciles like that trying to teach. The irony is that you live in the UK... if you were in good ol' 'Merrica I wouldn't have been surprised lol.

hey we saved your ass in 'Nam and don't you forget it teabag! haha

I was trying to express that she was a secret Tory

Argue with him and you'll get a foot in the ass.

the loss was a conspiracy. if we had won, all those famous anti-war songs inspired by the hippie movements would have been meaningless! thus we threw the fight to save the record companies! *everybody gasps*

We won every engagement. We killed more of them than they did of us. We won by most conventional military standards. We "lost" because it was unpopular with our citizens.

You lost. Sure, if you want to brag about it people still die from the toxins released there so you can beat you chest if you feel like it.

My boyfriends dad was in Vietnam. Agent orange has been trying to kill him since he returned home over 30 years ago! I can only imagine the crap the locals have to deal with in Vietnam.

Oh yay! More conspiracy theorists. Just what we need. How about this, you go fight in a war, then you can tell us if we won or lost. Sound fair?

you should just take over the class.

Don't just write things down OP, speak up =)!

Yea... I have a supervisor that's a lot like that. He is a total idiot and better yet, he was just promoted to assistant site manager. Yay...?

I was a teacher's aide for an English teacher my senior year of high school. He mentioned how annoyed he was getting by students using the "word" impactful in their essays. I had to read and grade some of those essays and suddenly the "word" was everywhere. Two years later, I cringe whenever someone says impactful. The Dean of my college said it in his welcome speech. Luckily, I don't have to learn from HIM. Sorry, OP. Just continue to passive-aggressively take notes of the fake words she says. And don't forget to let us know how that turns out when your pent up rage is released. :P
