Today, my dad is obsessed with making sure that I am not in any way 'bare' in front of the windows of our house. Which is surrounded by tall trees, five metres worth of tall trees. I'm not sure whether to be creeped out that someone might see me or that my dad is unhealthily obsessed about this. FML

OP, here. Once, I got out of the shower and wrapped myself in a towel. It was hot so I cracked a window to let in fresh air. Somehow that was indecent and I got yelled at, and he's been on my case ever since.

Your dad probably saw you, or came very close to seeing you, accidentally when he was outside. Even though it would have been completely innocent he is probably embarrassed that it happened and not able to tell you that it happened. But is now worried that it might happen again and that it will be some creeper next time.

Growing up I never thought twice about the window...until I learned that our alleged devote catholic neighbor used to sit outside at night & watch me change. I was like 12. CREEP

Maybe the tree would get a woody!! *Ba dum tss*

He's just looking out for you, I'm sure he doesn't mean any harm.

That would be the British spelling... Not a typo

Put up curtains. Everybody wins. Dads sometimes know stuff about the neighborhood and don't tell daughters what they are afraid of.

I accidentally have bared it out my front window, like, 3 times. I'm sure the neighbors got a nice boner out of it. Once I had noticed and helped myself, another time, one of my roomies noticed me and moved me, another and the other time, I had just laid down and fell asleep. I understand why he'd do it, but I also see how it can get annoying. Just try to go by what he says and at the same time, try not to let it interfere with your life
