I was Born in Augsburg, Baiern, Deutschland. (Augsburg, Bavaria, West Germany. And West Germany was what it was back in 1970. I’m a native of Queens, New York City. I currently Reside in the Pacific Northwest (Western Washington State). I Graduated from Blaine Senior High School in 1990. Two weeks later After Enlisting in the U.S.N. I found myself in way over my head 😂. And at Recruit Training Command or RTC in San Diego, CA. (Jun-Oct). Had 30 Days leave. Then it was off to my assignment. Which was ported in Apra Harbor, Guam. One of 5 Ships. On Nov 7, 1990 Reported aboard the Nitro Class Ammunition Ship U.S.S. Haleakala (AE-25). And from 07NOV90 to 14NOV92 i would live and sleep aboard that pile of junk. Commissioned 03NOV1959. Along with the Haleakala there were 4 other ships. U.S.S. Holland (AS-32), U.S.S. White Plains (AFS-4), U.S.S. San Jose (AFS-7), and U.S.S. Niagara Falls (AFS-3)
