Get me out of here

Today, I had to chase after my dad through a closing garage door to stop him from driving off fuming and doing something stupid. He recently got betrayed at work and called my mom's friend her boyfriend. I'm 27, living at home, don't want kids, no girlfriend, few, if any, good friends, likely unemployable because of resume gaps and bipolar. FML

Some problems are too big to solve by yourself. You really need to see a professional about the bipolar problem. Likewise it’s not really up to you to “fix” your parents lives. While the impulse to help your dad stay more rational and safe is a good thing, you probably don’t know the whole story.

Cool story, bro. Wait, that wasn't a story. That's just some rambling, stream-of-consciousness free verse from a scrambled brain.
