Today, my dad, who never supported us growing up, and who calls once a month to collect his monthly living expenses, gave me an ultimatum: either buy him a plane ticket so that he can come live with me forever (he's a raging alcoholic) OR to send him $4,500 US Dollars (which where he lives is someone's 6 month salary). FML

At this point, can he even do anything if you just refuse and cut him off and out of your life completely? Because it sounds like your life would be a heck of a lot less stressful if you did that.

Tell him to get bent, then stop taking his calls and cut him off completely... if you don't and you continue to support him, you 100% deserve it

"Monthly living expenses"? Is that alimony? Tell your mom to skip a month with the promise of double next monhth, then turn down his ultimatum-that-isn't-an-ultimatum, and he'll be gone before summer.
