Today, I spent about fifteen minutes after class talking to my crazy English professor, just because I haven't had any female friends to talk to since starting college four years ago. FML

Actually, it's fine talking to professors about some things (not everything cuz there are lines that shouldn't be crossed). They're human too. I don't have many friends either; so, ever since my 2nd year 2nd semester of university, I chilled out in a couple professors' offices. And I was in one particular professor's office once or twice every week jyst talking for about 30 - 60 minutes. I just graduated with a degree in English Literature and still chill out (now lunches, dinners, and movies) with that professor. They're humans too

You're fortunate that your professor is crazy. Sane people have been avoiding you for years.

You might as well admit that the only reason you spoke to him was that he does good makeup.

So people aren't befriending you for whatever reason (that sucks) but you label the person who will talk to you as being 'crazy'. Those in glass houses...

this might sound clichéd but try joining a club or society OP. it makes a HUGE difference in terms of finding friends. even if it is scary, go to the a few sessions and join in their nights out and you will start to find friendships form
