Haha great humor!
You think it's funny that he got someone other than his wife pregnant? Yeah, hilarious. Hardy har ******* har.
Oh my bad! I saw it as a joke, didn't realized the whole cheating part :/ f OP's life!
How naive must you be to think of a joke before cheating?
How about since no one here knows if it was a joke or not, we all just let our opinions be opinions and stop downing others.
55 - I saw it the same way as you. I guess everyone's used to jumping to cheating first than any other explanation,
I think it's appropriate to say "Divorce his ass!!!"
Yes, divorce his ass for his shocking sense of humour. A rational response to his prank.
Prank, joke - synonymous in this case.
# 13, why are you so sure it was a prank?
At no point did she say he impregnated another woman. Although she doesn't state one way or another, it would be logical to assume that the husband did this as a prank, otherwise the FML would probably mention the fact that her husband impregnated another woman. Stopping to think before you speak? Aint nobody got time for that! Jumping to conclusions is way more time efficient.
It's an FML...if OP's husband had got another woman pregnant, I'm sure it would have been mentioned... in the FML. Don't you think??
It clearly says that she isn't pregnant and that her own husband posted a status about himself saying that he is going to be father.
You are right... Just like it says in that Allstate commercial, you can't put something on the Internet that isn't true.
If he didn't cheat, then what would be the point on posting a FML about it? "F my life, I'm so miserable because my husband played a harmless prank on me"?
Instead of asking me to tell you the answer, stop and think for yourself what some possible alternatives could be.
Time to get those divorce papers..
Once again, social media brings out the stupid in people.
Yes! A quicker, more effective, way of them letting the world know of their stupidity!
Maybe he knows something she doesn't know. Thinking outside the box and looking at both sides...what if they were using condoms and he stuck a few holes in them and is hoping to impregnate her? Either way, it's still premature to write on FB about it and a shitty thing to do.
Maybe he was also collecting her pee so he could test it to see if she was pregnant. Maybe he posted on Facebook that he was going to be a father because he thought that was the most romantic way to inform his wife.
This is what the world has come to. When facebook knows more about your relationship than you do.
You're not pregnant but maybe he is... :)
"Don't worry - I'm not the mother." (Old FML.)
Sounds like he wants to become a dad. Shame he's not ready to actually communicate with you about it.
Actually #47, that's you making assumptions. What you don't get is that the post doesn't exactly lead into whether it's a cheating case, stupidity or even someone else's prank. We don't know for sure so we can't be certain that what you're saying is actually the deal anyway.
54- it's FML, never assume. 50- I saw it the way you did, too.
I agree with #50 too, I believe it to be likely that cheating would have been mentioned by op if that was the case. And for all we know it might just be some "friends" or colleagues doing a prank/facerape. I know of several people that could've been such an idiot towards a colleague.
I agree with #50 as well, personally I think it is funny. If I had facebook and my wife didn't it sounds like something I would do and laugh my ass off when all her friends thinks she's pregnant. Everyone saying that he's "definitely" cheating on her just can't seem to take the time to think that other people just have a different type of humor than they do. I'm not saying he isn't cheating on her for sure but there is nothing here that says directly that he did, so until OP replies nobody can know.
