Today, I realized that my grandma has pictures of all her grandchildren all over her house, with one glaring exception: me. FML

Thanks everyone for your support :) To make things clear, I am gonna answer some of your questions. First, I am the youngest child and the only daughter of her first child. Second, she has 22 grandchildren and I visit her regularly. Third, she has more than one picture of me but she just put them inside the drawer. she always ask my cousins for pictures of them, and my mom once offered her to give her new pictures of me but she ignored her. She even has pictures of her immigrant grandchildren whom she never met before or know how to speak their language. And no, I am not adopted, I am old enough to know that. I just don't know why she is always cold and mean to me.

Not just biological, but including remarriage, etc. I have 2 biological and one from a different marriage on one side.But a lot of people only have 2, so if you put pictures of all your other grandmas but her, you're probly gonna have one old lady plastered on your walls.

14, they don't have to be biological to be your grandma. My mother was adopted and I'm closer with the mother who raised her than my biological drug head grandma or my late grandma on my father's side (who was an alcoholic when she was still around. Plus my parents are divorced and I have two step grandmothers. Blood doesn't make a family..

I completely agree with you there almost all of my family isn't blood. I've heard the saying alot that blood is thicker than water but I really disagree.

I don't think it's that bad. My grandma used to have pictures of my brother and I on her fridge. Then my aunt moved in with her and took em all down, and put up pictures of her own grand children. She's just a raging bitch so I don't mind. I'm just glad she's not my grandma, haha.

It would make sense; that sort of thing happened to my dad when he was adopted. However, I think OP's Grandma either dislikes her, or OP has given no solo portraits to her grandmother.

Assuming their grandparents are all living, 20, then besides that one grandma OP has two grandpas and another grandma. Plus some people have great grandparents that are alive too.
