Today, I finally worked up the courage to ask a cute guy for his number. Once he had given me his, he asked for mine. My initial happiness was deflated when he said, "OK, now I can just block every message from you," and walked away. FML

Ok last I checked you cant block texts. At least Im pretty sure most phones and services dont allow that. I have been under the impression that that was not possible yet at least thats what three different service providers and the police told me after I called them about trying to block my ex stockers 100(literally) texts a day.

Depending on your carrier and/or phone, you can block numbers from contacting your phone number in any way--calls or texts. I know I called Verizon last week to have them block a number from their end. My mother's phone simply has a setting in it allowing you to enter numbers you want to block.
