Today, as a student midwife, I performed my first vaginal examination. I’d been warned that it's a difficult skill to master, so I was very surprised when I could easily tell the baby's head position. Unfortunately without thinking, the first thing I blurted out was “Wow! This feels amazing!”. FML

Today, thanks to my eating habits as of late, I went half the day without getting hungry. I ultimately figured out this just happens sometimes, so I didn't worry. However, as soon as I crawled into bed, I got hungry. I now have two options: I can either stay awake from hunger, or stay awake from eating too late. FML

Today, I’ve suffered my whole life with a bunch of genetic conditions and I found out why at my dad's funeral. A bunch of relatives from America attended and one of them secretly told me my parents emigrated to England under a cloud of shame because they were brother and sister. I’m inbred. FML
