Today, I cut my own bangs. I pulled too much hair to the front and ended up giving myself a mullet. FML

I always cut my own bangs and they always look good, this time I just tried something new and watched a YouTube video and the girls hair looked amazing, but I just wasn't paying attention to how much I pulled forward, which I usually do, and ended up cutting off more than I should have. I don't regret doing it. Hair grows back and I'm not too worried.

Business in the front, party in the back!

Haven't you seen the video where the girl burns her hair off with a curling-iron? Never trust YouTube!

Because it's Youtube's fault, right?

turn it into a piece-y bob. it's summer (unless you're part of the 10-12%).

If u want it to grow back quicker try horse shampoo

My salon charges $7 for a bang trim my previous salon charged $5 seriously spend the bucks and get it done right.

Since when is a pixie cut an awesome look?

Throw on a leather jacket and just roll with it.

I wish someone would give me a mullet. I'm quite sick of sardines.

Will you settle for Fish heads, fish heads, Rolly-polly fish heads?

With enough practice cosmetics could be your "calling"...

YDI. What were you thinking cutting your own hair? At least now you understand. Cutting your own hair falls somewhere between at-home dentistry and the DIY Brazilian on the Reckless Personal Care scale.

Oh, I wouldn't be quite that dramatic. Hair does grow back, and in the meantime, a little gel, a little mousse, a scarf or two, and it's all good. That Brazilian wax, though; maybe I'm just chicken, but the thought of anyone going remotely near my hoo-hah with hot wax just makes me queasy lol.

I don't know how you function if you think trimming your bangs at home falls any where between those.

So I suppose clipping my own finger nails is pretty close to swimming in shark infested waters then?

Dentistry = 4 year undergraduate degree, and a 4 year DDS/DMD degree at an accredited dental school. Hair dressing = No school at all, at MOST a year or two at cosmetology school.

A lot of people cut their own hair. She just said she usually does and it looks great, she tried something new and messed up. It's not a big deal. It's just hair. Calm down.

You could always cut it all of and go full Britney Spears.
