It sucks, but it was an accident, I didn't slam on brakes or anything but it was at the bottom of a little hill, and the van she was driving was much heavier and harder to stop than the mustang she is used to that will stop on a dime.

43- why wouldn't you call insurance? Two damaged cars, probably totaling thousands of dollars in damage. Paying for that kind of thing is why you give the insurance companies so much of your hard earned cash. Yeah your premium will go up a smidge but not as much as you'd lay out paying for the accident out of pocket.
We were actually lucky, there was only a small amount of damage, which my grandfather has offered to pay. My mom had borrowed a van so there would be enough room for my grandmother to ride down with her.
