Today, I was singing in my dorm. When I left a little later, a cute guy came up to me and asked if I was the girl who'd been singing. I proudly said yes. He replied, "Good thing you finally shut the fuck up!" and walked away. FML

This really needs more context. I used to live in a dorm, and sure, noise is part of the package, you deal with it, and FYL. But at the same time, respect for other people is also part of it. If this was late at night / early in the morning / at a time people would knowingly be studying for exams, etc... then YDI for being inconsiderate.

Okay, the way he approached you about it was a little rude, but it's VERY frustrating to hear singing in what's supposed to be a relaxing environment. Hearing unwanted singing anywhere is so annoying! But that's just my opinion.

That was quite rude of him, but it would probably be a good idea not to sing in the showers when there are a lot of other people around. Not everyone wants to hear that.
