Today, it's my birthday. Not only did my girlfriend not buy me anything, I also found out when she said she was taking me out for dinner, she really meant that I was taking her out. FML

While that's thoughtless and a bummer - I hope she made up for it with special bedroom activities. If she didn't, kick her ass to the curb tomorrow - but not before tomorrow in case she has birthday plans you are not aware of yet.

my birthday was Sunday, March 26. not only did my boyfriend not know, once I made the effort to go see him, he screamed at me because he wasn't home and proceeded to make me cry....then got angry at me for crying

That does not sound like a healthy relationship at all. Like the guy above me said... It is abuse. I would break up with the guy if I were you. He's probably one of those types who treats you like complete shit but then turns around and says they love you. But I could be wrong as I am not a stalker in any shape or form.
