I left my phone on the counter by accident when my mom called me so that's when she did it. But apparently she thought that I was cheating with her boyfriend so that's why she did it, my friends and relatives understand, but they're still hurt.

Well I guess you learned a lesson about not giving anyone your phone and hopefully broke it off with that 'friend' of yours. Regarding the angry messages, explain the situation and apologise and it is up to them whether to be understanding or not.
People like that are not what most of us would call a "friend." I believe the proper term is "douchebag."
Never trust people w/ access to your social media. It's too tempting to be a dick.
And I thought I was bad for filling my friend's camera roll with pictures of my face. Op, definitely ditch that "friend" of yours before they alienate you from all your actual friends for the sake of a joke.
There's definitely a lot of ways to prank your friends without being terrible like this. My moms phone contacts got changed to superheroes and such, even when Facebook was pulled in it was stupid stuff. I remember my cousin I posted something along the lines of "I'm a fairy and I dance in a tutu" or something. Something that was obviously a prank and everyone got a laugh out of. Hurting people isn't a prank.
They aren't your friend...

You need some motivation to drop that friend
As a person who is slightly overweight and cannot lose the weight due to a medical condition, I would like to tell your friend to **** themselves.
