Unexpected

Today, I quit my job that my girlfriend and I worked together at. Fellow employees are not allowed to date one another and I said it would be ok if I was the one to leave. When I got home to her and told her that I quit, she decided to break up with me. I now have no job and no girlfriend. FML

if she broke up with you because you sacrificed your job so she wouldn't get in trouble, she obviously wasn't a quality girlfriend to begin with

Giving up a job in this economic climate, YDI.

quitehh: so say someone tells a story about a black man mugging them: is it perfectly fine for me to say "well all black men are criminals"

YDI for being such an arse Rule: NEVER and when I say never, NEVER QUIT YOUR JOB FOR A STUPID BITCH WHO YOU HAVENT MARRIED

Wow, way to be a jack ass. If all of the other people like me out there who can't get a job agree, you SO deserved it. I'll gladly take your spot.

She probably meant for that to happen... You leave, she won't have to deal with you any more.

It was all a conspiracy to make you leave the job. First they drew straws to see which girl had to play you. Then someone leaked info that you two were an item against policy. Finally, you quit for her and they won. Sucks to be you.

you totally deserve what happened in this economy there is no reason on earth why you should give up a job have fun being the biggest loser in the job fairs because they were all laid off due to budget shortages but you quit your job .

you should of kept it a secret. me n my boyfriend work at the same place and it isnt allowed because hes a manager and im not. but we just keep it a secret. & pretty good at it too. been together for 9 mths. without any of them knowing!

what's with this bullshit about not being allowed to date co-workers? Anti-personal freedom and social control comes to mind. Why doesn't anybody stand up and say it's bullshit and unnecessary? or has everybody in office jobs learned to take it in the ass quietly and be grateful?

This might be a good thing, I hope, for your case.
