#3, the OP was at work, and usually if someone walks out on their food or for whatever reason the food has to be thrown away, it usually falls on the person that was dealing with the customer. So, if you want to say that it's not bad that they had to work, that's not why they are complaining... they had to deal with all of the wasted sandwiches and probably explain to their manager why the store was short a ridiculous amount of missing ingredients. OP that sucks for you.
#3 is an idiot. OP, you got every right to be in a FML mood. But at least you're not #3.
#11, in food service, instances like this happen all the time. People call in an order and then don't show up. Or somebody writes the order down wrong and then the food gets made wrong. Or people just decide to be bitches and decide, for no real reason, that they no longer want what they ordered. Mistakes, in most places, then are either thrown out or get to be eaten by the employees. Honestly this wasn't the employee's fault so I doubt they would have gotten in trouble for doing their job. This isn't a FML. Go work at a real restaurant and in some instances you'll have to spend 15 minutes on just one order of food. Meat takes a long time to cook, after all.
LMFAO. I'm sorry, but that is classic. EDIT: LOL #14.
Haha, we had that on a Dutch television show called 'de Pulp Show', which features a guy who walks into a bakery and orders hundreds of sammiches and just walks away in the end, maybe you'll see yourself on a tv show anytime soon? :D
I used to work at Subway... If I had discovered this site while I still worked there, I would have had a lot of FMLs to post. Compared to some of the things that happened to me, this is not that bad.
