You have a dad but ended up in a foster home? That's a man who's worth nothing. His opinion has no value.
I have to agree - if you were in a foster home, it's generally your parents' fault for being an unfit parent. And in this case your father appears to be emotionally toxic and abusive, kind of proving the point. It's certainly not your fault that the foster parents were abusive in such a major way. I'm sorry for you, and don't let his judgement determine your value as a human being. You have value independent of the disability, and deserve love, human dignity and the ability to fulfill your potential as best as your disability will allow.
I’ve got a back injury with ton’s of pain. What I may suggest may sound insulting, but it’s not. I think you should find out what medical help you can get in order to be most active, then find something you can do from home. Good with computers/electronics? Put in a resume to do remote tech support (I’m planning this now, and I used to be an engineer and SysAdmin at Google!). Or start learning a hobby and turn it into a business. There are grants and organizations that help disabled people setup a new business and you can get funding for needs like materials, tools, etc. spine injury or not, if you can talk on a phone or headset normally, tons of assistive devices exist and trackballs only take two fingers to move.
