Today, my best friend announced she was getting married. I've always wanted to be a bridesmaid but she then added, "You can't be in the bridal party because you don't have the same body type as the other bridesmaids. But you can still come to the bachelorette party!" FML

Today, my best friend informed me that I could not be her maid of honour because I "wasn't as pretty as the other bridesmaids" and she wanted her wedding photos to have "consistency". FML

Today, my best friend told me that I wasn't invited to her wedding, saying that I was too pretty and that I would outshine her at the ceremony. I laughed and said that she was being ridiculous. She eventually confessed the real reason why I wasn't invited: apparently I'm an annoying bitch. FML

Today, I rang up a good friend to ask her to be one of the two bridesmaids at my upcoming wedding. Before I could ask, she let me know that she would not be attending my wedding, as, "Weddings are expensive, so I'm not attending ones for people that are just acquaintances." FML

Today, I arrived at my best friend's wedding and found out that my invitation was no longer valid. His brother tried to explain that they'd decided to make the ceremony for family members only, then two our classmates popped out to say hello. They're not related, neither to my friend nor to his fiancée. FML

Yeah, that's an awesome "best friend." Sorry, OP.. but a best friend wouldn't care what body type you have. I'd think that a best friend would demand for you to be in her bridal party, no matter what body type you have, lol.

That sucks girl! I hear ya on that one. My friend who said she would put me in the bridal party changed her mind and then i saw the bridal party and how skinny they all were, ya most brides are superficial like that! Sorry OP

How nice to see that it's all about the way the pictures will look and not about sharing your special day with your nearest & dearest. Not to worry OP, someone this focused on the wedding & appearances is unlikely to cope with the marriage that follows. Maybe you can plan the divorce party for her.
