Dude.. I had that in my last Job.
that sucks and not fair!
I was promoted over someone who has been working at my company for almost 6 years. This was after 4 months of employment. You may not be ready or quite there maturity-wise. Don't blame her.
Seems like you did a pretty good job training her
When a company is run well, promotions are not on a first-come, first-serve basis but, rather, are given to those who deserve them. If they're cutting your hours and not promoting you, odds are YOU'RE the reason. You may want to step back and look at your history with this company objectively.
it happens to most people one time or another. although I hate saying it "the squeaky wheel gets the grease"... you need to make your bosses notice you if you're going to get a promotion

I'm being the devil's advocate here but it is possible that this girl is simply better than you now. Just because you trained her does not mean that she will always be less qualified than you.
Not being rude, but try finding a different job. I know I wouldn't wanna work for someone I trained.
