Today, I found my concert tickets that I've been trying to find for the last 2 weeks in my mom's closet. When I asked why she had them, she said she felt the concert was inappropriate for me so she hid them. I'm 20. FML

Today, my boyfriend bought me Kings of Leon tickets for my birthday. Since he thought I was irresponsible, he gave the tickets to his mum so I wouldn't lose them. The show is today, and we can't find the tickets. FML

Today, my son surprised me on my birthday with tickets to a concert I really wanted to see. I was excited, especially since I planned to buy them but couldn't due to the fact it was too expensive. I was ecstatic, until I found out he'd stolen my credit card to buy them. FML

Today, I was telling my co-workers about how I'd gotten tickets to a concert in a few days. My boss overheard. Later, he told me I now have to work on the night of the concert. However, he was kind enough to offer to buy the tickets off me for half of what I'd paid for them. FML

Today, I went to a great concert. Against all odds, I got to meet the band. All I had for them to autograph was a flyer protesting their concert that was given to me on the way in. FML

Today, I spent hundreds of pounds buying my best friend concert tickets to see our favourite band, complete with a meet and greet. I drove over very excited to pick her up to take her. She had already left. With her boyfriend. FML

Why do kids feel so damned entitled these days? The tickets are your dad's to do with as he pleases. If you want them so badly, get a job and buy them yourself. If you're living for free in his house, you have no right to complain that he doesn't give you every little thing you want. If you're too young for a job, you probably won't even like that band in two years anyway.

I think the real problem is they are VIP tickets which generally you can't just buy (that's how it works here anyway) They tend to be given away as prizes and stuff. Even if she works etc she couldn't just go out and buy VIP tickets. She could buy them from her dad but if he's already put them on ebay it might be too late. I would bet money he doesn't know she wants the tickets and she didn't tell him.

Where has all the logic gone to in society? I hate him because he makes terrible music. How on earth am i jealous? There's so many other rich/famous people I'd rather be jealous of.
